What Poopularity is
Poopularity is an entertainment platform where users react to entries — food, animals, everyday annoyances and similar topics — with a Poop (disapproval) or a Wipe (protection). The result is a public ranking in which a higher score means more disapproval.
It is not a poll, not a survey, not a measure of quality or merit, and not a reputation service. Rankings reflect the voluntary reactions of whoever chose to participate, including reactions that were paid for.
Free voting
You may cast one free vote per entry per UTC calendar day without an account. We limit this with a cookie, a short-lived device guard and network-level controls, described on the methodology page, which also explains what those limits cannot guarantee.
Bathroom Passes
- 1 Pass grants 1 unit of voting power, priced at $0.01.
- Minimum paid action: 1 Passes.
- Passes are digital content with no cash value.
- Passes cannot be withdrawn, transferred, resold, exchanged for money, wagered, or used to win a prize.
- Passes are delivered immediately; deployed Passes are consumed immediately.
- No entry featured on this site receives any part of what you pay.
Who sells the Passes
Purchases are processed by Stripe acting as merchant of record. Stripe is the seller for the purchase, issues the receipt, and handles applicable taxes. Your purchase contract for the Passes is with Stripe; your use of this site is governed by these terms.
Right of withdrawal
Passes are digital content supplied immediately. Before completing a purchase, the site requires an unchecked box in which you (a) request immediate supply and (b) expressly acknowledge that, once delivery starts, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal for this digital content where the applicable law permits that exception. We record the policy version and the server time with the purchase. This does not affect your rights if the service is faulty, not delivered, not as described, duplicated, or charged without authorization. Refund handling is described on the refunds page.
What you may not do
- Automate voting, or circumvent the one-free-vote-per-day limit at scale.
- Use the site to harass, threaten, or target any individual.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Votes identified as fraudulent may be reversed with compensating records. The originals are never deleted: the history stays intact so the current numbers can still be explained.
Changes and availability
This is a service in active development. Features can change, and it can be unavailable. Rankings, once cleared, are not edited except to reverse fraud, apply a refund, or comply with a legal obligation.
